How was Mordecai rewarded?
Parade: The king had Mordecai dressed in royal robes and paraded through the city square on a horse. 
Command: Mordecai was appointed second in command to the king. 
Protection: Mordecai commanded the Jews to protect themselves from attackers. 
Why was Mordecai rewarded? 
Mordecai was faithful to God and did what was right.
Mordecai reminded others of God's provisions for them.
Mordecai discovered a plot to kill the king.
What can we learn from Mordecai's story? 
God honors faithfulness.
God's blessings are gifts to humble ourselves and call upon God.
God exalts the humble and topples the proud.
We should trust in God and do what is good.
